Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) is seeking a Field Services Technician to provide hardware and networking support with emphasis on cabling infrastructure.

You will install, modify, and repair computer hardware and manage complex cabling systems while traveling as needed. This role requires hands-on experience with Cat6 and Fiber optic cabling, low-voltage electrical work, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience running and terminating Cat 6 and Fiber Optic cable.
• Background in low voltage electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Proficient problem solving and on-site installation skills.
• Strong communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Cabling Infrastructure: Pulling cable and establishing pathways.
• Termination & Testing: Cat6, fiber, coaxial cables, panel testing.
• Installations: J-hooks, ladder racks, conduits, raceways.
• Hardware Support: On-site support for desktops, laptops, servers.
• Diagnostics: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Customer Communication: Provide clear repair steps and timelines.
• Inventory: Track materials and maintain standards.
