Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) is seeking a Field Services Technician to support cabling infrastructure and hardware on client sites. You will install, modify, and repair computer hardware while running and terminating complex cabling systems.

Ideal candidates travel up to 50% of the time, work in a fast-paced environment, and bring strong technical skills. RTI provides company vehicle and certification support to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cabling experience with Cat 6 and fiber optics preferred.
• Electrical knowledge in low-voltage systems desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnight stays.
• Pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Pull and terminate cabling infrastructure following best practices.
• Test and verify cable integrity (Cat 6, fiber, coax, patch panels).
• Install supports: J-hooks, trays, ladder racks, conduits, raceways.
• Provide onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, and servers ( installs/moves/adds/changes).
• Diagnose hardware/software problems and run diagnostic programs.
• Communicate repair steps and parts/status to customers.
