Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) seeks a Field Services Technician to provide hardware and networking support with a strong emphasis on cabling infrastructure. You'll install, modify, and repair computer hardware and run complex cabling systems onsite.

If you enjoy travel, a fast-paced environment, and have solid technical skills, we welcome your application. The role requires 50% travel and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Cabling and terminations for Cat6 and fiber optic cables.
• Low voltage electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Certifications such as A+ and BICSI are advantageous.
• Ability to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• High school diploma or GED with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cabling infrastructure: pull cables, route pathways, follow best practices.
• Termination and testing of Cat6, fiber, coaxial cables and panels.
• Install hardware supports like J-hooks, trays, raceways and racks.
• Onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues and run diagnostic tests.
• Communicate repair steps and timelines clearly to customers.
• Perform inventory management and maintain standards.
