Equiliem seeks Traveling Structured Cabling Field Engineers to support fiber optic and copper infrastructure projects. Roles I, II, and Senior involve splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation with six weeks in the field followed by one unpaid week at home.

Field Engineer II leads testing and splicing for one project; Senior oversees multiple projects, RFIs, submittals, and markups. Travel is required across assigned sites.

Competenze

• Experience in fiber optic splicing and testing appropriate to level.
• Ability to read and interpret test results.
• Strong documentation skills for testing records and RFIs.

• Perform fiber optic fusion splicing and testing.
• Read and interpret test results to verify installation quality.
• Troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and testing records.
• Lead site testing and splicing for one project (Field Engineer II).
• Coordinate RFIs and prepare testing reports.
• Manage field engineers and coordinate splicing/testing across projects (Senior).
