Job summary

Zero dB Communications is seeking an itinerant field-based professional for fiber optic projects across multiple sites. You will travel from home to project sites, supporting design, installation, splicing and testing tasks while adapting to changing deployment needs.

The role requires regular travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation ranges from $20 to $40 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 1 year fiber optic field experience preferred.
• Able to meet physical requirements and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to travel up to 80% of duties.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned project sites as required.
• Work 40–70 hour weeks with on/off-cycle rest days and travel.
• Collaborate with field team on engineering tasks and field support.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and ensure safety compliance.
