Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction on mission-critical data center projects. You will supervise field crews, coordinate with general contractors, and ensure schedules, safety, and quality across complex power infrastructure installations.

You will oversee medium- and low-voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, and UPS, while enforcing NEC and OSHA standards and driving project milestones to turnover.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction activities on large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This individual will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating electrical subcontractors and trade crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring electrical installations meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical construction activities on large-scale data center projects.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors, foremen, and field crews to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Oversee installation of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and other critical power infrastructure.
• Coordinate electrical work with general contractors, project managers, engineers, and other trades.
• Manage construction schedules, manpower planning, material deliveries, and project milestones.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements to ensure quality and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve field issues, and support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience, including superintendent-level field leadership.
• Strong experience managing electrical installations on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of critical electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews, subcontractors, schedules, and field operations.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction drawings, NEC requirements, and OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale data center construction.
• Background working for a major electrical contractor or general contractor.
• Experience coordinating electrical commissioning, energization, and turnover activities.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.

Ideal Background

The ideal professional has progressed through electrical construction into superintendent-level leadership, with experience overseeing large electrical crews and complex power distribution installations on mission-critical projects. Direct experience managing electrical construction on hyperscale data centers is highly desirable.
