Job summary

Great Basin Industrial is seeking a Traveling Electrical Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical construction projects across the United States. The role requires extensive travel and the ability to work remotely from project sites for extended periods as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, and contracts while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA and construction safety standards.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple sites.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical construction projects from award to completion.
• Travel to project sites to oversee execution and conduct meetings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and work plans.
• Review contracts, drawings and specifications to identify scope and risks.
• Coordinate project turnover with estimating and preconstruction teams.
• Procure materials, equipment and subcontractor services within budget and schedule.
