Job summary

Global Edge seeks an experienced Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects across the United States. You will oversee project execution from kickoff to closeout, including budgets, schedules, procurement, and coordination with field leadership and subcontractors.

The role requires travel to project sites nationwide, strong leadership and communication, and a proven track record in data center, commercial, or industrial electrical work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction/project management experience.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical/data center electrical projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, contracts and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through final closeout.
• Oversee budgets, costs, forecasting, labor productivity, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and short-term lookaheads.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Oversee procurement and tracking of major electrical equipment and long-lead materials.
• Lead client and contractor meetings and maintain relationships.
• Identify project risks and implement schedule/profitability protections.
• Coordinate commissioning, punch-list, closeout, and final turnover.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.
