Summit Construction Advisors is seeking a Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead large, complex electrical construction projects across the United States. This role mobilizes to major project sites and owns execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Required five years in electrical construction, plus ability to travel nationwide and work across commercial/healthcare or mission-critical environments. Salary is competitive with relocation support and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience delivering large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, or mission-critical/data center projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and be based near project locations.
• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

Aufgaben

• Lead large, complex electrical construction projects across the United States.
• Mobilize to project locations and maintain presence throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
• Build project teams and align scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Develop and update schedules based on site conditions and priorities.
• Review contracts and drawings to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Serve as main point of contact for owners, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with field leadership on manpower, materials, equipment and execution.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors and trade partners for safety and quality.
• Manage procurement and long-lead electrical equipment to protect schedule.
• Oversee change orders, billing and contract documentation.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support jobsite safety and quality-control standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and preconstruction on Design-Build projects.
• Develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and staff.
