Job summary

Vision Electric & Systems seeks a Project Manager (Electrical) to provide comprehensive leadership for design/build electrical projects. You will manage technical directions, coordinate teams, and assume bottom-line responsibility for project profitability and scheduling.

This role requires strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders and a proactive approach to risk management. Key focus areas include compliance with NEC and safety standards, meticulous planning, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience on electrical construction projects.
• Experience with electrical contractors is preferred.
• Proficient in Procore, Accubid, Revit, CAD, and BIM tools; strong estimating and budgeting skills.
• Ability to read contracts, plans, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction and design to ensure NEC, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders (GCs, subcontractors, superintendents, union reps).
• Approve staffing decisions including superintendent and foremen assignments, wages, and volume.
• Direct planning, scheduling, engineering, and estimating efforts.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and bid proposals.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA standards implementation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and logs.
• Uphold company and client policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support customer relations, sales, and labor agreement adherence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
• Adaptable and responsive to evolving business needs.
