Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to serve as the primary electrical engineering lead on EPC projects within the Industrial market. The role focuses on job-site leadership in health and safety, quality reporting, and field electrical work execution.

You will handle electrical planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with clients and design teams. A strong background in electrical construction and NEC knowledge is required along with relocation flexibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Working knowledge of NEC and project drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative and construction activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Review proposals/specifications, drawings, perform takeoffs, prepare cost estimates.
• Attend pre-bid investigation meetings and coordinate with field teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare work plans, manage costs and materials, and track equipment.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Field Engineers, and craft teams in electrical discipline.
