Job summary

Kiewit Electrical Construction Field Engineer will serve as the primary electrical engineering lead on EPC projects in the Oil, Gas & Chemical market. You will lead site health and safety, ensure quality reporting, and oversee electrical planning, procurement, and progress and financial reporting.

The role includes coordinating with client and design teams, supervising field engineers and subcontractors, and traveling as required to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience reading engineering drawings and schedules; cost control.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, SAP).
• Willingness to travel and relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects within the oil, gas & chemical market.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and procurement support.
• Coordinate with client, design team, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings/specs and prepare work plans and JHA's.
• Ensure safety, quality reporting, and ethical workmanship on site.
• Manage equipment, scheduling, and cost tracking across disciplines.
