Job summary

This role requires travel across the U.S., co-locating at sites as needed, and delivering economical, on-time results.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willing and able to co-locate at the project location with travel package that aligns with Hunt Electric traveling plan.
  • 5+ years managing complex electrical projects.
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA).

  • Direct and supervise general foremen, foremen and their crews in accordance with contracts, union agreements, and policies.
  • Manage projects economically while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain files, schedules, reports, and contract documents.
  • Direct project planning through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
  • Perform take-offs and utilize estimating software to prepare change orders.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction team during bidding when needed.

Your responsibilities include cultivating and nurturing customer relationships, directing and supervising project teams to uphold contractual commitments and compliance, and managing projects with an eye for economic efficiency while maintaining a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Job Description
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships to secure future business.
  • Direct and supervise general foremen, foremen and their crews in a manner as to comply with the contracts executed by Hunt Electric Corporation, union agreements, and all policies and procedures.
  • Manage assigned projects as economically as possible while recognizing commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, contract documents, and billing necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.
  • Direct the planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
  • Perform take-offs and utilize estimating software to prepare change orders.
  • When necessary, work with preconstruction team during the bidding process.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willing and able to co-locate at the project location with travel package that aligns with the Hunt Electric traveling plan.
Experience
  • 5+ years managing complex electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
Industry Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources.
  • Exemplifies organizational core values.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish required tasks.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the electrical work to be performed.
  • Willingness and ability to train and educate assigned subordinates.
Physical Requirements

This position operates at a construction job site and is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise, possibly requiring closed toed shoes, as well as occasional use of a hard hat and eye protection. This position also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers, and fax machines. Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl. This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $112,640.00 - $163,840.00 Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
