Job summary

Salute is seeking a Commissioning Agent (CxA) with strong technical background in commissioning, verification techniques, functional testing, and O&M knowledge to act as a third-party verifier for electrical systems in accordance with design intent and Owner’s Project Requirements. Expect up to 50-75% travel to project sites and opportunity for relocation to key sites.

Responsibilities include reviewing training docs, performing testing, developing Cx procedures, and coordinating with clients

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Ability to travel 50–75% to project sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with commissioning processes and testing is a plus.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review available training documentation and apply it to daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with Clients / Engineers of Record / GC's / Subs / Vendors.
• Learn the Cx process and implement in the field.
• Develop Cx procedures using templates.
• Coordinate PQM test equipment on data center equipment.
• Operate PQM test equipment under supervision.
• Execute functional testing with the team.
• Fill in a daily onsite testing log.
• Perform infrared (IR) scanning and record data.
• Capture screenshots from PQM software.
• Assist with report development.
