Job summary

Salute is seeking a Commissioning Agent (CxA) to provide third-party verification that electrical systems meet design intent and Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). The role involves testing, documentation, and collaboration with Clients, Engineers, GCs, subs, and vendors across multiple data center projects.

Candidates should have a 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, and readiness to travel 50–75% of the time,

Qualifications

• This role requires a 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
• General understanding of all mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Travel readiness to support sites 50–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Review training documentation and apply it to daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with Clients, Engineers of Record, GC's, Subs, and Vendors.
• Learn the Commissioning process and implement it in the field.
• Develop commissioning procedures using templates.
• Assist with scheduling and testing activities on data center equipment.
• Perform infrared scans and record data in spreadsheets.
• Support report development and documentation.
