Job summary

Salute is seeking a Commissioning Agent (CxA) with a technical background to verify that mechanical systems function in accordance with the design intent and Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). The role involves testing across all 5 levels of commissioning per ASHRAE Guideline 0.

The position requires significant travel (50-75%), with regular travel to project sites nationwide. You will review training documentation, develop Cx procedures, conduct TAB verification, and document data to support

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
• General understanding of all mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Travel willingness to work 50-75% of the time.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with testing and verification in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Review training documentation and apply it to daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with clients, engineers, GC's, subs, and vendors.
• Learn the Cx process and implement in the field.
• Develop Cx procedures using templates.
• Conduct TAB Verification and data collection.
• Deploy data loggers and perform infrared scanning.
• Prepare IST Reports with charts of collected data.
