Job summary

Salute is seeking a Commissioning Agent (CxA) with a technical background and in-depth expertise in the commissioning process, verification techniques, functional performance testing, and O&M knowledge. The role acts as a third-party authority to verify that electrical systems function as intended per design and Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR).

This position requires substantial travel (50–75%), with key sites including Dallas, Lubbock, Charlotte, Montgomery, Waco, and Shreveport.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Travel: 50-75% of the time, including home office work.

Responsibilities

• Review available training documentation and apply it to daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with Clients / Engineers of Record / GC's / Subs / Vendors.
• Learn the Cx process to effectively implement in the field.
• Develop Cx procedures with use of a template.
• Assist with PQM test equipment on data center equipment.
• Operate PQM test equipment on data center equipment under supervision.
• Execute functional testing with support of team members.
• Fill in a daily onsite testing log.
• Perform infrared (IR) scanning/analysis and record data in spreadsheet.
• Capture screenshots from PQM software.
• Assist with report development.
