Job summary

Plymouth Tube Company - Trent is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team and promote a strong culture of environmental stewardship and workplace safety across multiple mills.

This hands-on role requires coordinating regulatory programs, training, and continuous improvement, with travel to Maryland, Mississippi, Wisconsin, and Kentucky; candidates near Warrenville, IL or Chicago O'Hare are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety related field preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Waste Water Class B Certification.
• Environmental Reporting Experience with Air, Waste Water, Storm Water & Waste.
• Hazmat operator's certification 40+ hours, First Aid required.
• 4-5 years minimum work experience in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and submits logs to regulatory agencies.
• Identifies hazards from toxic fumes, dangerous chemicals, and any other hazardous substances.
• Coordinates planning, testing, and operating phases to complete projects.
• Reviews environmental project plans with engineers and prepares progress reports.
• Develops and coordinates training programs for EHS and promotes a zero-injury culture.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety related field

Waste Water Class B Certification

Hazmat operator's certification 40+ hours

First Aid

4-5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing facility
