Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental and safety programs across Midwest manufacturing sites. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, CAPA-driven improvements, and cross-site collaboration with plant management.

You will lead multi-site EHS initiatives, interface with agencies, and drive cultural change toward proactive safety and environmental stewardship. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in EHS within manufacturing, corporate, or consulting.
• Experience with Title V air permits, TSCA, RCRA, SPCC, and other regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication with regulatory agencies, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain facility environmental and safety compliance under federal, state, and local programs.
• Provide EHS leadership across multiple sites and align with corporate policies.
• Develop and implement location-specific EHS programs and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to drive process improvements and track corrective actions.
• Interface with EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies as needed.
• Conduct training and ensure timely regulatory submittals.
• Identify accident trends and recommend corrective actions.
