Job summary

Evapco Midwest seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead site EHS programs across Greenup, IL and Newton, IL. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach a direct report while partnering with operations and corporate EHS functions.

The role requires strong leadership, audit capability, and the ability to translate safety concepts into practical, shop-floor actions. Travel is <5% and the position is based in Illinois.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading EHS in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS related field (preferred).
• Systems-based thinker who can architect sustainable EHS programs with PDCA (plan, do, check, act).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a strategy/roadmap for maturation of EHS programs at site level.
• Apply lean and EHS management system principles to drive scalable implementation.
• Act as SME on OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, Workers' Compensation topics.
• Coach and develop direct reports; lead audits and corrective actions.
