Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for our floating/W.E.S.T. Float Pool across WellStar facilities in Georgia. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings, traveling between campuses to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of direct ED RN experience.
• Active RN license in GA or Compact licensure.
• BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC/ATCN required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, including triage, assessment, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to codes and critical events.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
