Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for the W.E.S.T. Float Team. This role travels between facilities to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings.

You will triage, treat, and collaborate with physicians, with opportunities to expand expertise across multiple WellStar sites. Requires current GA RN license and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in GA or Compact.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately and in a timely manner per WellStar standards.
