SageWater is seeking a Traveling Drywall & Paint Repair Mechanic to support projects nationwide, traveling across the East and West Coast regions. This full-time hourly position requires working in occupied apartments and condominiums, with duties including drywall finishing and paint repairs.

You will travel as part of a regional team, be based at a job site within a regional division, and report to the Project Lead. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

As a Traveling Drywall & Paint Repair Mechanic , you will play a vital role in restoring repiped units to a clean, polished finish across various SageWater projects nationwide. You’ll travel as part of one of our regional divisions – East Coast or West Coast – to support projects with high quality workmanship and professionalism.

The Traveling Drywall & Paint Repair Mechanic role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based in one of our regional divisions at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.

KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hang, tape, patch, and finish drywall in occupied apartments and condominiums
• Perform paint repairs and blending to match surrounding finishes
• Install and remove dust and debris protection daily
• Reset vanities, cabinets, and light fixtures as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful work environment in residents’ homes
• Communicate clearly with project leads, teammates, and residents
• Follow safety protocols and company quality standards
• Maintain productive relationships with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors, and vendors

Salary Range

$25 - $35 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
