Job summary

SageWater is seeking Traveling Plumber mechanics and helpers to support nationwide repipe projects. You will travel with a regional division to install and replace piping in occupied condominiums and apartments, maintaining quality workmanship and safety.

The role is a full-time hourly position based at a regional job site, with opportunities for growth, benefits, and on-the-job training. Must be able to travel frequently and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experienced plumber with strong DWV plumbing background.
• Journeyman License preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to different project locations.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace piping systems in accordance with UPC code standards.
• Support or lead plumbing crews depending on experience.
• Apply technical knowledge to train and guide less experienced team members.
• Communicate clearly with project managers, crew leads, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient worksite.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Foster productive working relationships with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients.

About THIS OPPORTUNITY:

As a Traveling Plumber , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality repipe work within occupied condominiums and apartment buildings across the country. You’ll travel as part of one of our regional divisions – East Coast, West Coast, or Southwest – to support projects with a respected, professional team completing full repipe and plumbing system placement projects while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

The Traveling Plumber role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based in one of our regional divisions at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.

Salary Range: $20 - $35 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
