Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district while supporting pharmacy teams with safe dispensing and patient care.

You will travel within the district to fill shifts, oversee operations, and act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed. Immunizations, counseling, and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and oversee pharmacy operations
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following standard workflows
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by providing compassionate care and counseling
• Assist with immunizations and clinical care where permissible; support the pharmacy team to resolve insurance and medication issues
