Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, working under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will support pharmacy teams, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services while traveling to stores within the district.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, supervising bench shifts, assisting with patient care, and maintaining inventory with a focus on cold chain protection.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and support the Pharmacy Manager's duties.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Provide immunizations and coaching to Pharmacy Technicians.
• Maintain inventory controls and protect cold chain products.
