Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services across electrical, mechanical, and communications contracting markets. The Project Manager will lead assigned projects to ensure safety, quality, and financial performance, coordinating staffing, materials, and customer delivery goals.

This 100% travel role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and lead others to improve project processes.
• Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and partners.
• Must have proven problem solving and critical thinking skills and be able to read, write and present orally.
• Must read blueprints and project documents and manage tasks to completion.
• Must travel within branch/ regional territory as needed.
• Must learn PM systems and manage multiple tasks.
• Must obtain and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and manage project staff according to company policies.
• Oversee workload distribution and monitor delivery and installation progress.
• Plan and maintain project profitability to meet company goals.
• Review job cost postings, invoices and financial reporting to customers and management.
• Manage quality and safety issues on customer work.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Act as liaison with customer representatives.
• Develop and implement account process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
