Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Traveling Data Center Project Lead in Meridian, MS to guide multiple technician teams on large-scale commercial and data center construction projects.

You will provide daily field leadership, coordinate activities, and ensure work meets schedules and quality standards. Extended travel during training and transition is required. This contract-to-hire role favors candidates with hyperscale data center experience and willingness to travel for 4–6 weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• Two or more teams of technicians must be managed.
• Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects required.
• Hyperscale data center experience highly preferred.
• Willing to travel for extended periods (4–6 weeks).
• Strong communication with technicians and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct two or more field technician teams daily.
• Coordinate activities to support project schedules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality.
• Communicate priorities and assignments to technicians.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and field needs with project leadership.
• Support execution of large-scale commercial and data center work.
• Identify field issues and report potential delays.
• Maintain professional communication across teams.
• Support compliance with procedures, safety, and quality standards.
