Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies seeks an experienced Traveling Data Center Construction Project Manager to support mission-critical infrastructure projects across the Midwest and Southern United States. This field-based leadership role runs projects from startup to turnover, directing field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, while maintaining schedules, budgets, and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in electrical/industrial/mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing direct field labor, subcontractors, and active construction projects.
• Proficient in project schedules, budgets, forecasting, procurement, and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and cost tracking.
• Experience using Procore or similar PM software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls and data center construction projects from startup through turnover.
• Direct and manage field technicians, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Set daily/weekly priorities for field teams and monitor progress.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate manpower planning, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track risks and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct regular jobsite walks and oversee turnover activities.
• Support commissioning and startup, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
