Job summary

JPJ Staffing seeks a Travelling Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction teams, manage schedules, and ensure projects meet budget and deadlines. You will coordinate with Clients, Project Managers, and Vendors to align resources and timelines across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring extensive field experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in safety and compliance, with relevant degrees or certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degrees in construction management, architecture, engineering or related disciplines encouraged.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager or Certified Professional Constructor encouraged.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients and Project Managers to determine budget and timeline.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Execute project schedules for workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations and report to management.
• Make changes to operations to meet construction deadlines.
• Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
