Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 5-10 years of leadership in commercial ground-up projects. You will manage all administrative tasks for the project from day one, empowering the field team to complete projects on schedule, within budget and per specifications.

The position involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and owners, traveling to jobs nationwide, and driving safety and quality across the site while

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction experience as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Help prepare project schedules, organization structure, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specs and schedule while maximizing profit.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with schedules.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and other major reports.
