Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Tampa, FL seeks a General Superintendent to lead the execution of complex construction projects from planning through completion. You will oversee safety culture, subcontractor management, scheduling, budgeting and coordination with owners, designers, and authorities.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in construction with 10+ years in field supervision, and a track record of Lean method implementation on major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody, and control.
• Leads project meetings and coordinates schedules with Project Manager.
• Manages project budget and cost reporting.
• Ensures quality compliance via specifications and QA/QC.
