Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Superintendent with 5-25 years of experience to lead ground-up, big-box retail, cold storage and light industrial projects of 100k sq ft and more. The role involves directing field operations from day one, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion.

You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, review shop drawings, and report progress and costs to the project manager while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience leading large-scale ground-up construction projects (100k sq ft and above).
• Able to manage field operations, scheduling, and budgets to meet specs.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage construction and administrative activities for field operations.
• Enforce Safety and Quality Control policies and company regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and align work with project schedules.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Maintain daily diary documenting significant project events.
