Job summary

Gray Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety on assigned projects across the United States.

This field-based role requires site inspections, development of safety plans, and mentoring of safety teams to ensure compliance with Gray’s program. The ideal candidate has a strong background in occupational health and safety within construction, along with leadership and communication skills to collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational or environmental health and safety or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of related construction safety experience or training.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and site safety software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned projects.
• Monitor and inspect the job site for health and safety compliance.
• Implement safety policies onsite and coordinate with project manager and safety team.
• Provide health and safety training to all onsite employees.
• Establish and manage a safe jobsite culture per Gray’s program.
• Mentor and onboard new site safety team members.
• Review contractor safety programs and enforce Gray guidelines.
