Job summary

Gray Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety Manager to join the Field Operations Team for field/project-based work.

You will serve as on-site Safety Officer, monitor site safety, and provide training to ensure compliance across projects in the United States. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in health and safety (or similar) and 5+ years of construction safety experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel to multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety (or similar) and 5+ years of related construction safety experience
• Leadership skills to cultivate a cohesive team and drive safety culture
• Strong ability to identify exposures and implement corrective actions

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned project
• Monitor and inspect the job site for health and safety compliance and hazards
• Provide health and safety training to all employees onsite
• Establish and manage a jobsite safety culture per Gray’s safety program
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring of new site safety team members
• Review contractor site safety programs and mentor contractors
• Maintain owner and Gray safety records and assist in site safety plans
• Travel to project sites across the United States as required
