Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Safety Manager to join our Field Operations Team on a field/project basis. You will serve as on-site safety officer, lead health and safety programs, and mentor site teams across multiple projects.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in safety or related field and 5+ years in construction safety. Travel across the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not offered. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety or equivalent with 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Ability to identify exposures and lead corrective actions.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned projects.
• Monitor job site health and safety compliance and identify hazards.
• Implement safety policies and conduct on-site training.
• Establish and manage a site safety culture per Gray’s program.
• Mentor new site safety team members and review contractor safety programs.
• Maintain safety records and assist in site safety plans and emergency plans.
• Coordinate with supervisors to resolve safety concerns.
