Gray Construction seeks a Site Safety Manager to lead health and safety on field projects. You will serve as on-site Safety Officer, inspect job sites, implement policies, and train employees to meet Gray’s safety standards.

Travel is required as projects span the United States; leadership and strong communication are essential to foster a proactive safety culture and mentor junior team members.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety (or similar) and a minimum of 5 years of related construction safety experience or training OR a minimum of 5–10 years of related construction safety experience or training
• Leadership skills that helps cultivate a cohesive and successful team
• Industrial construction experience
• Identify known potential exposures and lead corrective actions
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• NCSO and Advanced First Aid strongly
• Visa sponsorship not offered

Aufgaben

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned projects
• Monitor and inspect the job site for health and safety compliance, identifying hazards
• Implement safety and health policies onsite and discuss issues with project manager and safety professionals
• Provide health and safety training and information to all employees onsite
• Establish and manage a jobsite safety culture per Gray’s safety program
• Mentor new site safety team members on assigned project
• Review, evaluate and approve contractor site safety programs
• Mentor contractors to ensure compliance with Gray guidelines
• Maintain owner and Gray safety records and assist in site safety plans
• Resolve complaints and grievances with supervisory personnel
• Other duties may be assigned
• Travel to project sites across the United States as required
