Job summary

Gray Construction seeks a Site Safety Manager to join the Field Operations Team on field/project based assignments. You will serve as the on-site Safety Officer for designated projects, ensuring health and safety compliance, mentoring staff, and developing site safety plans.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in health and safety or related field, 5+ years of construction safety experience, strong leadership, and proficient communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety (or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of related construction safety experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned projects.
• Monitor job site for health and safety compliance and identify hazards.
• Provide health and safety training to all employees onsite.
• Establish and manage a site safety culture per Gray’s program.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring site safety team members.
• Review contractor safety programs and mentor contractors on Gray guidelines.
• Maintain safety records and assist in developing site safety plans.
