Job summary

McGough Construction seeks a Safety Coordinator to lead on-site safety programs across projects. You will enforce policy, conduct inspections, train teams, and coordinate hazard analyses to prevent injuries and property damage. A four-year degree in OSH/Engineering plus OSHA 30 is required.

CHST within 2 years, First Aid/CPR/BP/AED, and bilingual capabilities are preferred. Travel to diverse sites nationwide may be needed to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OSH or related field.
• OSHA 30 training completed.
• CHST within 2 years of appointment.
• First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED training.

Responsibilities

• Build and enforce safety programs on projects in partnership with project teams and subcontractors.
• Conduct site safety inspections and walk-throughs; train safe behavior.
• Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety meetings, trainings, and hazard analyses.
• Maintain safety documentation and records for audits.
