Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to support projects nationwide with 100% travel. The role involves field testing, observation, and reporting on high-profile transportation, commercial, and wind-energy projects across multiple states.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1–2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; NICET/ICC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using a laptop and MS Word/Excel.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable history.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection per procedures.
• Documents findings clearly and accurately.
• Performs basic data analysis before submittal to the Project Manager.
• Communicates results to the Project Manager and team.
• Maintains and calibrates field equipment.
• Drives assigned vehicle to project sites.
• Follows safety rules and completes pre-task planning.
• Maintains quality standards on all projects.
