Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to support national projects. The position involves 100% travel across the Rocky Mountain division and beyond, with assignments on transportation, commercial buildings, and wind facilities.

You will gain exposure to diverse sites and advance your c**areer in construction materials testing**. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of related experience, proficiency in MS Word/Excel, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with laptop use and MS Word/Excel is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, observation and inspection per procedures.
• Document findings clearly and timely.
• Analyze data for accuracy before PM submission.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and team.
• Assist higher level technicians on complex tasks.
• Maintain equipment and calibration.
• Drive a vehicle as needed (e.g., Ford F-150).
• Follow safety procedures and report issues.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
