Job summary

Terracon seeks a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to perform field testing and observation on nationwide projects. This role requires 100% travel across the Eastern Midwest division, including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, supporting transportation, commercial buildings, wind farms, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of relevant field experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties.
• Document findings and results clearly.
• Communicate data to Project Manager for submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by Project Manager.
• Develop with increasing training and responsibility.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Follow safety rules and pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
• Work independently with limited supervision and good judgment.
• Collaborate across teams at various locations to meet goals.
