Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to perform field testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel across multiple projects nationwide. You will travel 100% to sites, document results, and support project teams with data and reports.

Required credentials include ACI certifications, radiation safety, and related safety training, with a willingness to travel extensively and maintain high safety standards on varied job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed according to procedures.
• Documents findings clearly and communicates results to the PM.
• Performs basic data analysis to verify accuracy before reporting.
• Maintains equipment and calibration; adheres to safety standards.
• Collaborates with project teams and supports scheduling on sites.
