Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Construction Inspector to observe, document, and coordinate field activities on major transportation and water infrastructure projects across the United States. This traveling team role requires 75–80% travel and may include evenings, nights, and weekends as projects demand.

You will work under a resource manager and Support Construction Monitoring Manager, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with owners, contractors, and engineers on field

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of comparable field experience.
• 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
• ACI - Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I is mandatory.
• Certified Welding Inspector certification is preferred.
• Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Traffic Control Supervisor and related certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specs.
• Ability to travel extensively (75–80% of year).

Responsibilities

• Observe construction in accordance with project specs.
• Track and report project progress and status.
• Coordinate with owners, project management, and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control/Assurance programs.
• Assist with change orders and pay item tracking.
