Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Construction Inspector II to observe, monitor, and document field work on major transportation and water infrastructure projects across the U.S. The role emphasizes traveling to project sites for extended periods, with the team ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of related construction inspection experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I is mandatory.
• Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work approximately 90% in the field, nights, weekends, and more than 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction in accordance with project specifications (pavement, bridges, utilities, etc.).
• Track and report project progress and status.
• Coordinate with owners, management, contractors, and engineers.
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies and QA/QC programs.
• Update as-built drawings and support change orders and pay item tracking.
