Job summary

Woolpert seeks a Construction Inspector to join our CE&I team to support construction of public and private infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers, engineers, and leaders to inspect materials, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and specifications.

The role emphasizes field work, documentation, safety, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. A relevant degree or experience, OSHA 10, and a valid driver's license are required; DOT or testing certifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of construction management and inspections.
• Familiarity with contract administration and pay estimates.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• DOT certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction management duties with increasing responsibility.
• Analyze programs independently and apply standard techniques.
• Review and interpret construction documents, site drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure inspections meet contract protocols and codes.
• Provide daily and weekly reports.
• Coordinate with contractors when test failures occur.
• Support quality control and quality assurance procedures.
