Job summary

Ulteig seeks a Lead Construction Inspector to support engineers as an assistant project team leader, coordinating inspection activities, performing engineering calculations, and guiding a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in municipal or CDOT construction inspection, DOT/ACI certifications preferred, and strong written and verbal communication. Flexibility for long seasonal hours and a US work authorization is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in municipal or CDOT construction inspection required.
• DOT, ACI, or related certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn more software as needed.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and integrity.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibilities.
• Superior interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute, and manage engineering projects for construction inspection.
• Assist with analysis for development and implementation of engineering and construction-related services.
• Supervise less experienced staff and develop a solid team.
• Work long hours during construction season and adjust hours during non-construction season.
