Job summary

Lemartec, MasTec’s vertical construction arm, is seeking a Construction Change Manager to oversee changes across lifecycle projects. You will lead change control, assess impacts on cost/schedule, and coordinate with Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and Contracts.

Extensive field coordination and travel across multiple states are required. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction/change management, knowledge of contracts, and proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in construction, engineering, project controls, or change management.
• Proven experience managing changes on major construction or capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, variations, and commercial processes.
• Experience evaluating cost and schedule impacts of changes.
• Experience with construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field directives.
• Experience collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project's Change Management and Change Control procedures.
• Establish and maintain a Change Register for all project changes.
• Coordinate detailed assessments of the impact on cost, schedule, scope, design, procurement, and safety.
• Review change proposals and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Monitor change initiatives from initiation to closeout and escalate unauthorized changes.
• Coordinate with project controls, planning, cost control, and commercial teams.
• Manage change orders and variations with contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain auditable change records and weekly/monthly reports.
