Job summary

TempExperts is partnering with an established commercial construction company to hire an experienced Traveling Commercial Superintendent. You’ll lead ground-up projects across the U.S. from preconstruction through closeout, keeping every job safe, on schedule and built right.

You’ll fly out Monday and return Thursday, with travel paid by the company and a brand-new company vehicle for your use. This direct-hire, full-time role offers strong benefits and a steady project pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including ground-up projects.
• Proven leadership managing multiple trades, tight schedules and diverse crews.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience with MS Project, Bluebeam or similar construction software.
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to get it).
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading all on-site construction activity from preconstruction through closeout, on time, on budget and to spec.
• Keeping detailed daily logs, safety reports and project documentation.
• Working with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors and clients to keep the job running smoothly.
• Enforcing safety standards, running safety meetings and doing regular site walks.
• Spotting problems early and solving them before they slow the project down.
• Managing site logistics, crew scheduling, and equipment and material deliveries.
• Traveling across the U.S. to new projects roughly every six months.
