We Search People is seeking a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead nationwide projects in the automotive, aviation and transportation sectors. The role requires hands-on site leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will travel nationwide, stay on-site for extended periods, and manage schedules, drawings and RFIs to maintain project momentum.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, plans, drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, site safety, quality control and project documentation.
• Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide and stay on-site for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily jobsite operations, including construction coordination, quality control and site safety.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and trade partners throughout construction.
• Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, material deliveries and trade sequencing.
• Create and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and jobsite safety orientations.
• Travel nationwide and remain on assigned project sites for extended periods.

Our client is an established commercial construction company with nearly four decades of industry experience is looking for an experienced Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to join its team.

The company specializes in commercial construction projects across the automotive, aviation and transportation sectors, with projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in running organized, efficient jobsites, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent site management skills and the flexibility to travel nationwide and remain on-site for extended periods.
